OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 RC 2 - untested full installation setsJava Runtime Environment (JRE)The JRE is required for the Base (database) component, for wizards as well as several other features. The package increases the download size between 15 - 40 MB depending on the choosen platform. For more information see: Java and OpenOffice.org. When the download link includes the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and the download does not work then please delete the "-wJRE" part from the link or uncheck the option. For some languages and platforms the builds are not released with and without an included JRE. Disclaimer: The software in the following table is based on the final release but the final tests were not done yet. Therefore it cannot be seen as a released build and it is not recommended to deploy in a production environment. However, you are invited to use and test these builds. Please report any possible issues. For more information visit the homepage of the particular localization team. A gap means that the build is already released as stable and tested full install build. A "coming soon" means that for some Windows installation sets first a digital signature needs to be added. This process is not yet finished. Please be patient and check back regularly.
OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 RC 2 - untested language packsA language pack is not a release for its own and has to be installed over a stable release with the same version number and platform. It contains resource files for a specific language and platform to show, e.g., menus, dialogs, error messages in your language. It may contain translated Help content. Language packs are created if at least 80% of the User Interface (UI) is translated. In case it is not fully localized, some elements of the UI or help topics will display in English as default language.
